Hillary Is On

क्यारालिनामा क्लिन्टन भारी मतले विजयी

South Carolina might have decided. Hillary is on. By now the two parties have their nominees. And Mike Bloomberg might have waited too long.

This race is over. Hillary has won. There's no way a Democrat can lose in November.

Kathmandu And Jerusalem

Kathmandu And Jerusalem

Jerusalem is where three major world religions meet: Judaism, Islam, Christianity. A lot of people don’t see it that way, but Kathmandu is its own kind of Jerusalem. Two major world religions meet in Kathmandu. Buddhism and Hinduism. Jerusalem is also easier to understand because people not getting along is as obvious as can be. In Kathmandu outwardly Hinduism and Buddhism co-exist like no two religions anywhere on the planet. But do they really? Buddhism is an egalitarian religion. All human beings are not only equal, there is no other way possible. Hinduism and its caste system are not one and the same, but by now who can tell the difference? They co-exist like meat and bone. The caste hierarchy is like a body organ to a Bramhin. Preaching egalitarian thoughts is quite literally blasphemy. What makes things more complicated is the agitating Madhesis did not become Buddhist just like Jews did not become Christian, although Buddha was born one of their own. The agitating Madhesis are caste people and the top leaders of the movement don’t get along because they are from different caste backgrounds. Otherwise the political agenda is the same, and there are not really any major personality clashes. So the Brahmins in Kathmandu say, if I don’t have to even explain this to you, since you are big on caste yourself, how hard is it for you to understand that I have decided upon a second class citizenship for you? How is that any different from the caste system both you and I agree with anyways? Not only two major world religions meet in Kathmandu, two other are right at the heels. Islam is not small in the Madhesh, and Christianity is the fastest growing religion in Nepal, giving the Brahmins nightmares, like Islam is the fastest growing religion in America, and for the same reason. The oppressed are walking out in both places.

Kathmandu is home to two major world religions who are at peace but can not really be because the two social structures are like metal and glass. And Kathmandu, or rather Nepal, is a confluence of five major world civilizations. That there is no civil war is a miracle. The religions might take some of the credit. Because it’s not literacy, it’s not the per capita income, it’s not roads, it’s not bridges.

Maybe there will be peace in Kathmandu, and the same peace template can then be taken over to Jerusalem. Via Kashmir.

For now the question circulating around in Kathmandu is, if the Madhesis don’t have problems with the caste system, why do they have problems with being second class citizens?

India and China have both avoided micro interferences in Nepal not because they fear Nepal -- it is a small country -- but because they fear Jerusalem. Every major power in modern history has thrown the kitchen sink at Jerusalem, and it has stayed intractable. Both India and China stay informed, but the level of micro management that Delhi gets accused of in Kathmandu, if there is truth to it, Delhi has the most efficient bureaucracy on the planet.

The Muslims Did Not Invade India

The Muslims Did Not Invade India

The Hindus, or some of them, broke the Hindu society through a forceful imposition of the caste system. They did such a thorough job for a few hundred years, that they were basically begging to be invaded. There was nothing to invade. You just had to walk in. The Hindu society was so broken up.

The caste system is still intact today. The Hindus could still get invaded by the Americans and the Chinese. Only the creation of a casteless Hinduism will give India the backbone to stand firm. The creation of a casteless Hinduism should be the top project of the RSS. Hire a hundred poets to come up with Bachchan like last names. And “convert.” Get people to adopt these new last names.

Otherwise FlipKart is already owned 80% by non Indian investors. That is the new East India Company knocking at the door. It is already inside the house. The Americans and the Chinese are just waiting to swoop in through the digital doors. You could keep your borders and your army and still get hollowed out. So dangerous is the Hindu caste system. Buddhism is egalitarian. Mass conversion to Buddhism might be another option.

Science And Engineering

Expecting me to hold political office is like expecting a scientist to become an engineer. Makes zero sense.

China And The Next Thousand Years

China And The Next Thousand Years

The Chinese think in terms of a thousand years. As do the Jews. The Hindus are not mad at Muslims for no reason. Individual births and deaths are not that big of a deal, if you think about it. But the future is not always in the past. Maybe it never is. There ought to be a freshness to looking at the future.

To ask, does God exist, is like asking, do you believe in the Sun? It’s there. What’s there to believe? And the sun has nothing on God. Look up the YouTube video on 10 dimensions. A four dimension creature should perhaps approach the larger dimensions with some humility.

What if it is genetic? Speciation is genetic. We became a species only a few hundred thousand years ago. How did it happen? Did it start with one birth? Obviously the process did not stop. Every birth is a step forward in evolution. Was there only one beginning? And even if there was, by the time you end up with large numbers of people, is it possible that there is genetic variation? All human organs have genetic roots. The brain is no different. Is it possible that there is slight variation? For example, are the Jews genetically predisposed as a people to read more books than everyone else? I don’t know. I am only asking. Are the Karnataka people genetically predisposed to not fear death? To die in battle is no big deal, it is not even a consideration. How much do we know about genes?

Knowledge changes things. There is no artificial. A skyscraper is as much a part of nature as a tree in the Amazon. Because the human brain, the human limb, they are very much part of nature. How much do we know? How much can we know? How much can we hope to know? How much can we collaborate?

In 500 years we might become a multi-planetary species. I don’t know at what point, but there is a dollar figure to it. Maybe it is 10,000 trillion dollars. The global economy will have to move from 60 to 10,000, and then it is Star Wars time. There doesn’t have to be war, by the way. But if human history is any guide, be prepared for anything.

500 years is a blip. Perhaps the Homo Sapiens will forge one common identity, internal variations allowed, desirably allowed.

Maybe the human rights charter is too long. We just need two points. One, free speech. You may express thoughts, and you will not be bothered for it, not by the state. Two, zero tolerance for violence. Countries will not be allowed to go to war with each other. Civil wars are not allowed. Individuals may not kill or assault each other, except Putin throwing people around for sport. We could have a really small government, if those are the only two things that the government needs to do. The rest of the time we could focus on getting to that 10,000 trillion dollar figure fast. Because maybe we want to travel.

We have now the option to create a borderless world, thanks to biometric IDs and facial recognition technology, the policing part need not be expensive. Once we attain a world government and a species level identity, there is no room for talk of whose century it is, and who is the superpower now. All that goes by the wayside. Just like we laugh at the little kingdoms that were in our countries a long time ago. Every fort was a country. A city country.

The Chinese, once the leader in science, are great engineers. They think the British messed up with them because the British were great engineers, and the Japanese messed up through universal high school education. The Chinese have learned the lesson a little too well. They are great engineers. But there is this mention of a people in the Bible who were great engineers but did not believe in God. They did not do well. The Chinese need the Dalai Lama more than they realize. Buddhism is custom made for their atheistic tastes. And they are already half way there on their own. The Chinese did not abandon communism, they did not pick up capitalism. They got organized and they engaged in evidence based decision making. Communism made sense then, capitalism makes sense now. What has stayed constant is evidence based decision making. They have not changed in their ways. It is the evidence and the conclusions that have changed. Capitalism gives you the motorbike. Buddhism gives you the helmet. The Chinese just might end up with the best of both worlds: a capitalism that is subservient to the political process (fire versus forest fire) and Buddhism as the crown jewel. The material and the immaterial. Buddhism is practically science.

It is not possible the Chinese are atheists if the Chinese are Buddhists. Evidence based decision making is the most direct path yet to God, more so than philosophical surmising, crusades, superstition, witchcraft, and everything in between.

Building a road everywhere where there is a need to build a road, building a bridge every place where there is a need for a bridge: who will do it? Who is best equipped?

Parking money is a bad idea. That is admission that you don’t know what you are doing. The ocean currents are not supposed to stop. The money is supposed to keep flowing. That is what is best for both the money owners and the world.

We used to have gold coins. Then we used paper money and kept equivalent amounts of gold in a safe place. Then we realized gold is not necessary. Money floats on trust. Occasionally we become very good at losing that trust, but that is another story. Now is the time to lose the paper altogether. We have to go 100% digital and 100% global with the money. If every transaction can be recorded, we can let it loose. Blockchain technology allows us to move money globally like email, for free and instantly. And every transaction stays in the books. Money has to go where the need is the greatest. Every infrastructure project in every poor country can give you a 10% annual return easy. So if you have 10 trillion dollars just sitting there doing a 0%, something is very wrong in the picture. It is a primitive arrangement, quite literally. You are avoiding people you don’t like. You are not driven by self-interest. If all money can go 100% digital, and 100% global, and can reside 100% on the blockchain, forget leveraging to the tune of 30, which is where the markets crashed in 2008. We could easily leverage to 1,000. We could have plentiful money. Economic activity globally could hit new heights.

The market did not crash because one dollar got leveraged to 30. One dollar can safely be leveraged to 1,000. But when you park money, that is negative leveraging. One dollar gets turned to zero. A dollar out of circulation is a dollar that has been vaporized, as far as the economic system is concerned. Parked money is not neutral, it has a negative pull.

So why did the market crash?

To leverage to 1,000, you have to apply the Kumbha Mela concept. The largest gathering of humanity sees zero chaos.

While Mike Bloomberg is having his Arjuna doubts, and Barack Obama is plotting retirement (foundation and paid speeches) instead of a world government, the Chinese are engineering the hell out of it.

A global, digital 911 would have several community elements. You will ring up your neighbor for the most part. No matter where on earth, you could not get lost. Your biometric ID would allow you to check in with any police officer.

What is artificial is scarcity. Abundance is natural. Human beings are the only species that starves. Because there is not enough coordination.

Nepal’s police in Madhesi-hunting spree
The Asian Human Rights Commission’s (AHRC) partner organization the Terai Human Rights Defenders (THRD) Alliance have secured information that the Nepal police have started arresting Madhesi protesters in different cases, mostly related toevents that occurred during the 5 month long protests and blockade in the southern plains. This is a systematic trend of charging with false cases against frontline Madhesi demonstrators at district levels following the end of strikes in Nepal’s Terai on 8 February 2016. The trend is serious in a way that these local leaders who were active during the five month long protests have now been facing legal hassles, and they are now compelled to face intimidation from the state security agencies. There is no moral and legal support for them. ....... No doubt, killings of security personnel should be investigated and perpetrators should be booked. However, the recent actions are against Madhesi demonstrators only. The government authorities have not taken any action against the killing of 41 persons (of which 22 were bystanders). Neither has the State’s constitutional body, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), made its investigation report public, nor have any publicly visible actions against those involved in the killings of demonstrators and bystanders been taken.

Power And Restraint

Mixed martial arts bout
Mixed martial arts bout (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
The most important aspect of possessing power is not being able to exercise it, but being able to exercise restraint. Learning martial arts is not about being able to beat people up. It is the opposite. It is about conquering the temptation to beat people up. Except when you make the judicious, conscious decision to beat somebody up. That is also true about law enforcement and military power. Restraint is where the glory is.

The problem with the Anti-Christ is not that he is evil, which he is, and that that is not a problem, God knows it is, but that he looks too much like Christ, and people get deceived. He has been drawing large crowds like Barack Obama.

Nobody needs rescuing quite like Donald Trump supporters. They are being taken for a ride. He is speaking to their darkest fears without offering any cures, any solutions.

There is economic anxiety. The recession that should never have been is over. The unemployment rate is below 5%. But when you suck 13 trillion dollars out of the economy and throw it out like so much toilet paper, the resultant wage depressions will take some time to recover. America needs a 5% growth rate to merely get back to where it was. And that is the message loud and clear. But Donald is the false prophet.

Hitler said crowds have short memories. As in, you can manipulate the crowd. You can make them do things they might not do in their conscious minds. Compare that attitude to what Jesus said. Jesus said God lives with the poor. The son of God said God lives with the poor. As in, I am the son of God, but I had to go live with the poor to get to God. Contrast that attitude with what Hitler said.

Donald Trump is the cynic. He challenges people with taunts like, I am going to say the sickest things about Mexicans and guess what, they are going to love me for it. Look at my poll numbers. That is not the Christ. Christ does not speak that language. That is the Anti-Christ.

It is not the people's fault. They are being misled.

Free Speech और इंडिया

अपनी अपनी दिलचस्पी होती है। तो I am like Modi.

Hillary's Emails (2)

Hillary's Emails

I am beginning to think maybe it was not Hillary who was reading the emails in Westchester. Maybe it was Bill Clinton, and there is nothing wrong with that. As both a husband, and a former president, I guess he could do that. Hillary was reading the emails in DC, Bill Clinton was reading the same emails in Westchester, and they were talking long distance on the phone. I am guessing.

The law of term limits has been a Republican conspiracy to make sure the best of Democrats don't make it too far. Don't laugh. Look at the facts. Bill Clinton outside the White House has been fish without water. Another one is about to feel the same way. And on many counts this one is even better.

So why does Bill Clinton simply not own up to it and put the matter to rest? As in, lay your hands off, it was not her, it was me.

Because both the media and Bill Clinton know. So far that guy has been very disciplined. He knows he is being goaded, but so far he has resisted. Because he knows he can't hog the limelight like the media wants him to. If he were to drink the email fiasco poison, a whole bunch of dead newspapers will come back from the dead. He still has that kind of wattage. Hillary and Trump and Bernie could move to page A2.

Donald Trump's Supporters Are Valid

One person, one vote, one voice. People may peacefully assemble, they may peacefully organize, they may vote, they may speak. And so, Donald Trump's supporters are valid. They might or might not be correct, but then what's correct?

Free speech is not only when you are right. What's right? Who is to decide? Precisely because there is no way of telling who is right and who isn't, we fall upon the arithmetic of one person, one vote, one voice.

I think the message is there is economic anxiety. And that the Republican Party's time is up. And that the white identity has been a cultural confusion. Beyond lack of pigments, what is it really? Is it to hate others? What?

The Trump supporters have to be listened to. There is anxiety, but then I knew that. The arithmetic of politics, of democracy, is not just about counting heads. Or hands.

US presidential hopeful and quote machine (See this and this) Donald Trump today said that if elected, he would prosecute his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for using a private email server when she was the secretary of state.

I think the whole email blowout is so stupid. Spare me, but I have not been following. I have not been reading any of the news stories on the topic. I'd rather read about the ninth planet in the solar system. I am intrigued.

I doubt Hillary might have sent all the emails she is said to have sent. These are pre-email people. I am not even sure she knows how to send faxes. (I don't either). I think what might have happened was, she was perhaps attempting work-life balance. She was working from home. She probably thought, I don't have to read these emails at the office in DC. I could print these emails out at home and read them while in Westchester. Or maybe she was seeking feedback from her husband who, many might say, is not that dull of a political brain. I don't know what was going on, I don't care.

Emails, by definition, you should be able to read from anywhere you can log in from. That is the whole idea. What's the question? Why are you reading your emails in Westchester? Why are you not reading them in DC? Maybe she has internet access at home. That's why.

I mean, right now I am neutral on Bernie and Hillary. It is not like I even matter. But I am neutral. Bernie has surprised me with how well he has done. So I decided on neutrality. And it's not like I dislike any of his ideas.

But Donald Trump should challenge Hillary on policy. Maybe he thinks Hillary's airstrikes in Libya is how ISIS was born. That would be a legitimate line of attack. Or maybe he dislikes her tax policy. In which case he will have to study the policy.

Even snail mails you could read in Westchester, if you could safely carry them with you. And a Secretary Of State should be able to safely carry snail mail from one part of the country to another. Otherwise the country is not safe enough.

I don't think anyone is claiming her email account was hacked.

A Secretary Of State should be able to log in to her email account, not only from any part of the US but any part of the world. It is not that hard to do. As in, lot the log in, I mean, it is not. I mean the safety part.

Emailing 101. While we are at it, let's also start a training program on Microsoft Word. Donald should sign up for it. He knows how to use the phone, but does he know how to use a word processor?
